Overview Why This Job Is Worth a Look Direct-hire opportunity — this is a permanent, full-time position, not a temporary assignment Full benefits package including medical, dental, and vision coverage Consistent full-time hours on a predictable 2-2-3 schedule $18.00-$19.50 per hour Hands-on experience operating manufacturing and packaging equipment Stable production environment with established safety and quality procedures Position Overview We are hiring a Production Machine Operator for a full-time, direct-hire opportunity in McElhattan, PA. In this role, you will operate production and packaging equipment, inspect finished products for quality, package and label products for shipment, move raw materials to the production floor, and support day-to-day manufacturing operations. This position may be a strong fit for candidates with experience as a Machine Operator, Production Operator, Manufacturing Associate, Packaging Operator, Production Worker, Line Operator, Packer, Warehouse Associate, or other manufacturing or production professional. What You'll Do Safely operate production and packaging equipment Start up and operate assigned machinery according to established procedures Inspect finished products and complete required quality checks Package, label, and prepare finished products for shipment Ensure the correct raw materials are available for production Monitor product quality and immediately report any issues to the appropriate team leader Use RF units and computer-based systems for inventory and production tracking Accurately record product lot codes and production information Complete required production paperwork and documentation Keep machines, production lines, and surrounding work areas clean and organized Assist other production team members as needed Follow all safety procedures and applicable GMP, FDA, ISO, and quality guidelines Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment Ability to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing Ability to work successfully as part of a production team Ability to learn and operate multiple types of production and packaging equipment Ability to successfully complete required training and assessments Basic computer experience preferred Previous manufacturing, production, packaging, warehouse, or machine operating experience is helpful Physical Requirements This is an active manufacturing position.
