We are looking for a Finishing Room Lead to own, manage, and optimize our finishing operations. This is a high-impact, hands-on role where you will lead a team, run R&D trials, and ensure every part meets precision standards.

Important:

This is a precision manufacturing role. We are specifically looking for professionals from industrial/mechanical finishing backgrounds. Candidates with only pharmaceutical manufacturing experience will not be considered. The Steel Requirements (Must-Haves) If you don't meet these, this might not be the right fit:

Experience:

5+ years of direct, hands-on experience in industrial finishing (blasting, deburring, vibratory, surface finishing).

Leadership:

Proven track record running a finishing room or leading a production team (3+ years preferred).

Mechanical DNA:

Strong aptitude for industrial machinery; you must be able to set up, adjust, and troubleshoot equipment yourself.

Precision Background:

Prior experience in a high-tolerance, precision manufacturing environment.

Local Talent:

Must live within a reasonable commute to Quakertown, PA (No relocation assistance provided).

Authorization:

Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship. Nice-to-Haves (The "Extra" Edge) Experience with Chemtrol chemical treatments, electropolishing, or shot peening. Basic knowledge of SPC (Statistical Process Control) or data analysis tools. Familiarity with CAD (reading drawings/blueprints) for fixturing. Shop:

Manage daily workflow, schedules, and a team of technicians in the Finishing Room.

Optimize Processes:

Run experiments and R&D trials for vibratory finishing, blasting, and washing.

Troubleshoot:

Resolve technical issues with media, compounds, and machine configurations on the fly.

Client Interface:

Assist the sales team by developing sample processes and technical reports for prospective clients.
