Job Description
Job Title:
Production Worker Shift 1st shift Monday-Friday 6 am-2:20 pm paying $17.75 an hour plus OT Responsibilities Inspect panels or parts to verify specifications meet quality standards while maintaining established production standards. Read and follow established Manufacturing Operating Procedures or Standard Operating Procedures without deviation unless approved. Complete production reporting and quality paperwork accurately as required. Efficiently use banding equipment and hand-jacks to ensure proper movement or storage of product or material. Place materials such as panels or tile in machines or on conveyors in the prescribed manner and sequence while maintaining smooth flow of operations. Perform various trimming, indexing, or cutting procedures as required. Keep supervisor informed of problems and equipment that is not operating properly. Maintain good housekeeping and follow established safety procedures. Learn and have a working knowledge of all equipment and machinery within the Understructure department. Position parts and monitor operations on equipment while producing product at established production standards. Make minor setups including changing plate sizes and setups for various sized tubes and studs. Essential Skills High School Diploma or GED; or equivalent experience. Ability to read, write, and follow oral and written instructions. Ability to interface with a diverse workforce. Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. repetitively unassisted for an 8-hour shift. Proficiency in using various tools and measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, tape measure, dial indicator, and feeler gauges. Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and crouch for an 8-hour shift. Skill in handling or feeling machinery, equipment, or parts, and working near moving mechanical parts. Experience with hand tools, power tools, and machine operation is a plus. Familiarity with micrometers and calipers is advantageous. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Red Lion, PA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $17.75 - $17.75/hr.
