Some of the duties involved with this position will include the following: The duties may vary from operating machinery, assembling materials or equipment, carrying out inspections, shipping, and quality control. Responsibilities might also include using cold saws, tools, drill presses, milling machines, and other industrial tools. A production/manufacturing assistant should have a high school diploma, or GED. Prior experience working as a production worker may be helpful. Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize things is important. Drug testing required.
