Job Description
Hiring Immediately for Production Associate/Machine Operators Pay up to 24/hr Job Description This role involves setting up, operating, cleaning, and monitoring production machinery in a clean manufacturing environment with a strong focus on safety and product quality. You will handle raw materials and chemicals, perform quality checks, and respond quickly to any equipment or process issues to ensure products meet specifications and production goals. Responsibilities Set up, operate, clean, and monitor machines in accordance with standard operating instructions and established procedures. Understand and follow all department safety, quality, and regulatory requirements while actively contributing to meeting production goals. Move, handle, and visually inspect raw materials and finished products to identify defects and take corrective action when needed. Perform checks to verify accuracy against product specifications and ensure overall product quality. Record inspection results, deviations, and quality traceability data in manual logs or computer systems with high accuracy. Interrupt machine operations when necessary to correct operating problems and prevent production of materials that do not meet specifications. Use investigative, troubleshooting, and basic mechanical skills to identify and resolve equipment and process issues quickly. Accurately measure work in process (WIP) and finished goods to maintain proper inventory and production records. Perform troubleshooting activities to resolve equipment malfunctions and maintain consistent machine performance. Handle and mix chemicals according to prescribed formulas, procedures, and safety guidelines. Contain, label, store, and transfer hazardous waste in accordance with established procedures and regulatory requirements. Support general production and packaging activities as needed to maintain workflow and meet production targets. Essential Skills High school diploma or equivalent. 1+ year of machine operation or production experience. Hands-on experience with machine operation in a manufacturing or production environment. Ability to perform general labor tasks, including material handling and packaging. Experience with quality inspection and basic production documentation. Ability to stand for the duration of the shift. Ability and willingness to work with chemicals in a safe and controlled manner. Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills for equipment issues. Attention to detail to identify defects and ensure products meet specifications. Ability to follow standard operating procedures, safety rules, and written instructions. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience in a clean manufacturing environment. Familiarity with tracking quality data in manual logs or computer systems. Comfort working in a large facility with multiple production lines. Strong commitment to safety and maintaining a clean, organized work area. Ability to respond quickly to changing production needs and priorities. You will work with chemicals and hazardous materials in a controlled manner, following prescribed formulas, procedures, and handling guidelines. The workplace culture prioritizes safe operations, adherence to procedures, and consistent product quality. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Eden Prairie, MN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $24.50/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
