Job Description This role focuses on performing detailed visual and manual inspections of stamped metal parts to ensure they meet strict quality standards. You will use precision measuring tools to verify dimensions, identify defects, and collaborate closely with quality engineering to resolve issues and improve overall product quality. Responsibilities Perform visual inspections of stamped metal parts to identify defects, damage, or irregularities. Conduct manual inspections using micrometers, calipers, and other measuring tools to verify dimensional accuracy and tolerances. Document inspection results clearly and accurately, following established quality control procedures. Work closely with the quality engineer to identify recurring issues, analyze root causes, and support corrective actions. Follow all quality inspection standards and guidelines to maintain consistent product quality. Handle parts and equipment safely and efficiently in a high-volume metal stamping environment. Maintain a clean and organized work area to support safe and effective inspection processes. Stand for extended periods while inspecting parts and moving between workstations as needed. Adapt to varying workloads by completing inspections during 8-, 10-, or 12-hour shifts, depending on production needs. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of

Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $15.50 - $16.50/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
