Job Description
Hiring Production Workers in Weirton, WV Paying up to $21/hr - WEEKLY pay! Job Description This entry-level production role focuses on assembling large industrial battery casings and supporting high-quality manufacturing operations in a modern facility. You will start on day shift for training and then transition to night shift, working as part of a team and independently to ensure products meet quality standards and production goals. Responsibilities Work with team members to assemble the exterior casing of large industrial application batteries according to established procedures and specifications. Operate production and machine equipment safely and efficiently during assigned shifts. Perform independent quality checks by measuring and inspecting parts to ensure they meet required standards. Accurately document part orders, inspection results, and any relevant notes directly on the product or in designated records. Carry out general labor duties as assigned, including material handling, organizing work areas, and supporting overall production flow. Follow all safety guidelines and maintain a clean, orderly, and compliant work environment. Complete training on first (day) shift and successfully transition to second (night) shift while maintaining performance and reliability. Essential Skills Ability to stand and work on feet for 8-10 hours per day. Ability and willingness to train on first shift (day shift) and then move to second shift (night shift). Minimum of 6 months of manufacturing production experience. Basic experience in production and assembly work. Ability to perform machine operation and general labor tasks. Ability to use a tape measure accurately for part measurement and inspection. Attention to detail for quality control and documentation. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience in assembly work, particularly in a manufacturing environment. Background in quality control or inspection activities. Comfort working with industrial machinery and operating equipment according to safety procedures. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and complete tasks with minimal supervision once trained. Why Work Here? Work Environment The role is based in a beautiful, new, state-of-the-art facility in Weirton, WV that is climate-controlled and well lit, providing a comfortable and safe workspace. Training takes place on day shift, Monday through Thursday from 6:45 AM to 7:15 AM, with regular work scheduled on night shift, Monday through Thursday from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM. The environment includes modern production and machine operation areas designed to support efficient manufacturing and consistent quality. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Weirton, WV. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
