Production Worker Job Description A Winder/Kitter is responsible for operating equipment to produce graphite or fiberglass unidirectional prepreg (skins), then cutting the skins into 0/90 oriented kits of material for use as face sheet plies of honeycomb sandwich panels. Responsibilities Operate equipment to produce graphite or fiberglass unidirectional prepreg. Cut skins into 0/90 oriented kits for face sheet plies of honeycomb sandwich panels. Follow the steps outlined on the production work order to formulate each product. Complete each step of the work order and perform in-process quality checks. Collaborate with the Winder Production Supervisor as needed. Work independently or with a team to complete tasks in a timely manner. Essential Skills Production experience Assembly and kitting skills Machine operation proficiency Manufacturing knowledge Mechanical aptitude Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Newport, WA.
