Blue Dolphin Screen Print & Embroidery - Seacoast NH We're growing and looking for someone who can bridge the gap between design and production — someone who understands how great artwork turns into great finished products. If you're equally comfortable behind a screen and behind a printer, and you like solving problems, working with your hands, and seeing your work come to life, this could be a great fit. ________________________________________ What You'll Be Doing This is a hybrid role combining digital printing and production art responsibilities, so your day will vary depending on production needs. On the Production Side Set up and operate digital printing equipment based on job specs and production schedules Review work orders to confirm materials, quantities, and print requirements Dial in color, registration, and print quality—making adjustments as needed Troubleshoot print and equipment issues to keep jobs moving efficiently Maintain production speed while hitting quality standards Keep equipment and workspace clean and organized Track and complete production records Help train others as needed On the Art / Pre-Press Side Prepare and adjust artwork for production (separations, sizing, cleanup, etc.) Work in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and Acrobat daily Adapt designs to different garments, substrates, and print methods Collaborate with production and sales to make sure artwork prints correctly Make edits not just for appearance—but for efficiency and smooth production runs Manage multiple jobs, priorities, and deadlines at once ________________________________________ What We're Looking For We're flexible on background, but the ideal candidate has a mix of: Experience in graphic design, print production, or both Strong working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat) Understanding of print processes (especially textile printing) is a big plus Ability to troubleshoot and think critically on the fly Strong attention to detail—this role directly impacts final product quality Good communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work independently when needed Solid organization and time management Bonus points for: o Experience with digital printing equipment o Knowledge of inks, substrates, and color management o Familiarity with ShopWorks or similar systems ________________________________________ What the Job is Like Fast-paced, hands-on production environment A mix of creative and technical work—no two days are exactly the same You'll be part of a team that values quality, efficiency, and problem-solving Opportunity to grow your skills across both design and production ________________________________________ Requirements Degree in Graphic Design or related field or equivalent experience At least 1+ year in a production environment (more preferred) Ability to be on-site (this is not a remote role) ________________________________________ Compensation & Benefits $18.00 - $24.00/hour (based on experience) Benefits after 60 days: o Paid holidays and PTO (Paid Time Off) o Health Reimbursement Arrangement (HRA) o Dental, Short-Term Disability, Life & AD&D o 401(k) ________________________________________ Why Blue Dolphin?
