; West Greenwich, RI; Lead and support planning and execution of key initiatives with cross functional teams at the production floor; Liaison at the floor and with cross function teams to assure program (NPI/PRI) preparation, implementation, sustainment and capture and share lessons learned; Provide and analyzes data to support management evaluation of process performance trends. Provide subject matter expertise for area of responsibility; Own quality records including change control, CAPA, deviations, and deliver to timelines; Support AR5 and AR30 manufacturing organizations in the prioritization and execution of these activities to maximize plant performance and plant capacity; Collaborate with Quality, Process Engineering, Regulatory, and Process Development to implement process improvements; Support of front-line managers through on the floor presence; Own and author critical standard operating procedures and supporting documentation and training; and Anticipate risk and builds contingencies to help mitigate impact. Master's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Regulatory Affairs and Quality Assurance, Bioengineering, Chemical Engineering or related field & 2 years of experience in the job offered or a manufacturing-related occupation. The position requires 2 years of experience the following: 1. Implementing Lean manufacturing to optimize inventory, reduce waste and drive continuous improvement methodologies; 2. Applying six sigma principles to lower defect rates for process or raw materials; 3. Continuous Improvement and Operation Excellence Tools including: 5S, Fish Bone, Poke Yoke, and Build Standard work; 4. Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) production operations; 5. Project management methodology and tools including: Spotfire (Data analytics), MES (PAS-X), PI System (data historian), TrackWise, Veeva, and SAP (ERP); 6. Safety programs including Job Safety Risk Assessment, Ergonomic Job Measurement System, and identification of risks; 7. Data analysis and control charting; and 8. Project management skills including collaborating with cross-functional teams to validate the manufacturing line layout according to equipment and process requirements.
