No The Opportunity When you join Smurfit Westrock, you will be joining a team that creates sustainable paper and packaging solutions that help move the world forward. In this role, you will support safe and efficient mill operations by performing a variety of production functions across multiple work areas. Successful operators must develop proficiency in at least seven of the mill's nine production positions, enabling the team to meet production goals, support customer needs, and drive operational performance. How You Will Make an Impact Ensure a reliable flow of recycled fiber raw materials to production operations, supporting continuous mill performance and customer delivery commitments. Operate material handling and production equipment safely and efficiently to maximize productivity and maintain operational excellence. Manage OCC inventory and material movement using computerized systems to maintain accurate stock levels and support production planning. Optimize fiber quality by selecting and supplying the appropriate mix of OCC grades to meet manufacturing and product quality standards. Produce customer-ready paper rolls by operating Reel and Winder equipment in accordance with quality, safety, and specification requirements Support the timely shipment of finished products through safe loading and handling of customer orders Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment while adhering to all safety, environmental, and operational procedures.
