CCS Construction Staffing is hiring Industrial Torch Cutters / Welder Helpers for a project in Elgin, SC . This position is heavily focused on torch cutting, burning, demolition, and removal work . We are looking for candidates who are comfortable using torch/burning equipment to cut out existing industrial piping and equipment. This is not a high-level production welding position .

Job Duties:

Use torch/burning equipment to cut and remove existing piping Demo and remove piping, tanks, and other industrial equipment Cut carbon steel and stainless steel piping Load demolished piping and equipment onto trucks for removal Perform Stick and TIG welding as needed Assist with general industrial demolition and cleanup Follow all site safety requirements

Requirements:

Previous experience using oxy-fuel torches, cutting torches, or burning equipment Industrial, pipefitting, welding, mechanical, or demolition experience preferred Basic Stick and TIG welding ability Comfortable performing physical demolition and material-removal work Reliable transportation and dependable attendance Able to work overtime as needed

Schedule:
