Job Description

CCS Construction Staffing is hiring Industrial Pipefitters for a long-term project in Elgin, SC . We are looking for experienced Pipefitters who are comfortable working on industrial demolition, pipe removal, and torch cutting . This project involves removing existing piping, tanks, and mechanical equipment, so candidates must be willing to perform hands-on demo work in addition to traditional pipefitting duties.
Responsibilities:
Demo and remove existing industrial piping and equipment Use cutting torches and burning equipment to cut out piping Remove carbon steel and stainless steel pipe Assist with demolition and removal of tanks and mechanical equipment Load removed piping and materials onto trucks Perform Stick and TIG welding on carbon and stainless as needed Identify piping systems and determine safe removal points Work alongside other mechanical trades during demolition activities Maintain a clean and safe work area
Requirements:
Previous industrial Pipefitter experience Strong experience using cutting torches / burning equipment Experience working with carbon steel and stainless steel piping Ability to perform basic Stick and TIG welding Comfortable with demolition and physically demanding work Must be dependable and able to work overtime Industrial shutdown, plant, manufacturing, or mechanical demo experience is a plus
Schedule:
