Engineered Products Production Operator Location:
Greenville, South Carolina Industrial Direct Hire Description:
Production Operator Engineered Products in Easley, SC is hiring Production Operators (Assemblers) for 1st and 2nd shift. This hands-on role supports daily manufacturing by assembling components, performing basic quality checks, and keeping work areas safe, clean, and organized. Some assignments may also include cleaning and touch-up work on metal parts. Responsibilities of a Production Operator Assembly / Production Assemble metal or component parts using hand tools, power tools, fixtures, or jigs following work instructions Read and follow basic assembly drawings, labels, and production instructions Load/unload parts and materials to support production flow Inspect parts for defects (fit, finish, missing hardware, paint coverage, etc.) and report issues to the lead/supervisor Package, label, and stage finished parts according to standard procedures Maintain a clean, safe workstation and follow 5S/lean expectations Part Cleaning / Finishing Support (as assigned) Clean metal parts by removing rust, weld spatter, and oil Use provided tools and equipment to complete tasks safely and effectively Use a paint sprayer at times to perform minor touch-ups to ensure full paint coverage and correct imperfections Requirements / Qualifications of a Production Operator Manufacturing/assembly experience preferred, but entry-level candidates with strong work history may be considered Comfortable using hand tools (ex: drills, impact drivers, wrenches, measuring tools) Ability to follow written instructions and perform repetitive tasks with attention to detail Dependable attendance and ability to work the assigned shift schedule Ability to stand/walk for most of the shift and lift up to 30-50 lbs (based on assignment) Willingness to follow all safety and PPE requirements Benefits for HTI Associates Weekly pay Paid Time Off (PTO) Health, dental, and vision insurance Retirement benefits Opportunities for overtime and career growth
