We serve an established wholesale customer base, operate a growing ecommerce business, and have our own coffee shop. We are a small, experienced team where reliability, communication, teamwork, and a willingness to help matter. We are looking for a dependable, hands-on person to join our production team at our North Charleston roastery. Starting pay is $20 per hour. We are open to both full-time and part-time candidates. Full time is approximately 40 hours per week and includes a company contribution toward health insurance for eligible employees. For part-time candidates, we are looking for a consistent weekly schedule with meaningful availability.

The Role:

This is a hands on coffee production position with the opportunity to develop into increasingly technical aspects of coffee production and roasting.

Responsibilities include:

Preparing and staging green coffee Blending and packaging coffee Operating production equipment Maintaining finished goods inventory Monitoring production supplies Maintaining production records Cleaning and organization Supporting the overall production operation A significant part of production involves repetitive work. The right person should be comfortable with routine and repetition, take satisfaction in becoming efficient and consistent, and maintain attention to quality and detail throughout the day. Assistant Coffee Roasting For someone with the right interest and aptitude, this position provides an opportunity to learn the technical side of coffee roasting and develop toward becoming a backup coffee roaster. Previous roasting experience is not required; training opportunities will depend on your progress and performance in the production role. Beyond Production We are a small company, and adaptability is valuable. Depending on capability and interest, there may also be opportunities to assist with equipment and facility maintenance, deliveries and field support, inventory, and other operational needs. Who We Are Looking For Experience in coffee, food production, manufacturing, warehouse operations, agriculture, mechanical work, construction, maintenance, or other hands-on environments can all be relevant. We're looking for someone who is curious, detail-oriented, hardworking, and comfortable working independently. An interest in how things work and a willingness to learn are more important than previous coffee experience.
