Job Title:
1st Shift General Production Job Description Join our dynamic team where you will rotate between four distinct divisions of radiator and cooling systems assembly. Your tasks will include tube stuffing, where you insert a small tube into a larger one for the radiator, hanging hooks for the paint line, placing plugs in radiators before they proceed to painting, and pushing small dowels through radiator holes. Responsibilities Rotate between four divisions of radiator and cooling systems assembly. Perform tube stuffing by inserting a small tube into a larger one for the radiator. Hang hooks for the paint line. Place plugs in radiators before they proceed to the paint line. Push 25 small dowels through holes in radiators. Essential Skills Experience in production assembly and general production. Familiarity with a manufacturing environment and assembly line operations. Ability to perform general labor and operate machinery. Ability to lift up to 40lbs. Capability to stand for 8 hours. 6 months of production experience required. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with machine operation and assembly processes. Why Work Here? Work Environment Work in a collaborative environment with machines, welders, and assemblers all in one space. While the environment may be on the dirtier side with no air conditioning, it is a supportive team setting with around 60 employees and growing. The role requires steel-toed shoes. The hours are from 5 am to 3 pm, Monday through Thursday, with overtime opportunities. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Canton, SD. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
