Job Description

Production Associate Skaber Manufacturing is looking for a Production Associate. Responsibilities Deburr, tumble, sand, or blast parts. Perform light mechanical assembly or kitting. Package, label, and stage orders for shipping/delivery. Run basic or semi‑automated equipment (saws, presses, deburring wheels, CNCs, once a machinist sets them up) Keep the work area clean, put tools back, and empty chip bins. Improve shop operations by identifying and eliminating waste. Take initiative to improve processes. Functional Competencies Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality. Excellent communication skills. Ability to work in teams, maintaining a high level of interaction. Ability to sit and stand as needed for up to eight (8) plus hours per day. Team player mentality, ability to establish good peer relationships, and strong work ethic. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to problem-solve. Ability to prioritize tasks, work independently and as a team, to make decisions based on sound work principles. Ability to pass training for a forklift license and to operate various warehouse equipment, including but not limited to a forklift, hand truck, and pallet jack. Embraces a culture of continuous improvement and growth, both professionally and personally. Ability to bend and lift to 50 pounds. Ability to stand or walk continuously throughout the workday.
