General Production Worker Job Description Join our dynamic team as a General Production Worker and play a key role in our production process. You will be responsible for replacing wooden pallets with plastic pallets and aerating loads prior to printing, based on the production schedule. Additionally, your role will involve preventative maintenance on equipment, requiring the ability to diagnose and troubleshoot issues through early detection and sound analysis while the machine is in operation. Responsibilities Replace wooden pallets with plastic pallets and aerate loads prior to printing, according to the production schedule. Perform preventative maintenance on equipment and diagnose and troubleshoot equipment issues through early detection and sound analysis during operation. Read and follow proper work instructions using basic measurement tools. Frequently lift or carry 10 to 25 pounds and handle pallets weighing 40-52 pounds. Regularly stand and use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls. Reach with hands and arms, walk, climb or balance, and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl as required. Essential Skills Experience with assembly, machine operation, and general production. Ability to use power tools and perform mechanical assembly and inspection. Ability to read blueprints and demonstrate mechanical aptitude. Work Environment This is an entry-level position with a 3-2-2-3 shift schedule, providing every other weekend off. The work environment is dynamic and requires physical activity including standing, using hands, and occasionally walking, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Kingston Springs, TN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
