Production Operator Location:
Kodak, TN Pay Rate:

$16.00 per hour

Schedule:

Responsibilities:
  • Assemble metal components and finished products
  • Read work instructions, blueprints, and diagrams
  • Operate fabrication equipment such as saws, drill presses, and grinders
  • Perform measurements using tape measures and other measuring tools
  • Inspect parts and finished products for quality
  • Assist machine operators and support production operations
  • Follow all safety and quality procedures Education Requirements High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Previous assembly, manufacturing, or production training is beneficial. Experience Requirements Must be able to accurately read and use a tape measure
  • Ability to assemble products or components according to work instructions and production standards.
  • Ability to safely use basic hand tools, power tools, fixtures, or production equipment as required.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to inspect completed work for quality.
  • Ability to maintain productivity while performing repetitive assembly tasks.
  • Dependable attendance, teamwork, and commitment to workplace safety. Preferred Qualifications Previous factory, manufacturing, production, assembly experience is preferred.
  • Experience working on production lines or assembling mechanical, electrical, or consumer products is beneficial.
  • Knowledge of quality inspection, Lean manufacturing, or continuous improvement practices is considered an asset.
  • Individuals who demonstrate reliability, adaptability, teamwork, and attention to detail are well positioned for success as a Production Operator. Physical Capabilities Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive assembly tasks throughout the shift.
  • Ability to lift components, materials, or finished products weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Manual dexterity to safely handle parts and operate assembly tools or equipment.
