Job Description

Production Team Lead Join a team powering America's clean energy future! Shiftfillers is hiring an experienced Production Team Lead for our Light Industrial division. You'll be placed at a leading solar energy components manufacturer in Portland, TN.

Portland, Tennessee; conveniently located in Sumner County — a short drive from Gallatin, Hendersonville, and the greater Nashville area.

SCHEDULE WITH PAY

Weekday (M-F + OT S) 1st

  • 6:00am
  • 4:30pm
  • $19.50/hr Weekday (M-F + OT S) 3rd
  • 7:00pm
  • 5:30am
  • $21.50/hr Weekend (F-Sun) 1st
  • 6:00am
  • 6:00pm
  • $22.50/hr Weekend (F-Sun) 3rd

Duties:

As a Production Team Lead, you'll be the go-to person on the floor — keeping production running smoothly, your team motivated, and quality on point.

Your day-to-day responsibilities include:

Leading and directing daily activities of hourly manufacturing associates Setting up production lines to customer order specifications Ensuring the right parts and quantities are being produced per the production schedule Coordinating across departments to meet customer quality standards Identifying and resolving shift delays and production inefficiencies Training and onboarding new associates and documenting that training Communicating safety, quality, and production issues to supervisors and management Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work area

Qualifications:
