Overview Alpes Sanfer, Inc. is a poultry production company located in Sharps Chapel, Tennessee, focused on the production of fertilized Specific-Pathogen-Free (SPF) eggs under strict biosecurity, animal welfare, and quality standards. Position Summary We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Production Operator to support daily poultry production activities, including animal care, egg collection and selection, sanitation, recordkeeping, and biosecurity compliance. Responsibilities Care for and monitor poultry, including feed and water consumption. Collect, select, sort, and sanitize fertilized SPF eggs. Operate automated feed, water, and egg collection systems. Clean and maintain production areas. Maintain accurate and legible production and biosecurity records. Follow all SOPs, PPE, sanitation, safety, and biosecurity requirements. Participate in poultry blood collection and cloacal swabbing for routine disease surveillance. Training will be provided. Perform other production duties as assigned. Schedule Requirements 1st

11:30 PM•7:30 AM All Production Operators must be available to rotate shifts. Days off are assigned based on production needs and may include weekdays. Employees must also be available to work weekends and holidays when scheduled . Qualifications Poultry, agriculture, animal care, or production experience preferred but not required. Strong attention to detail. Ability to follow written procedures and instructions. Dependable attendance and punctuality. Comfortable handling live poultry. Willingness to participate in poultry blood collection after training. Legible handwriting. Reliable transportation to and from the Sharps Chapel facility. Physical Requirements Frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, reaching, and repetitive movements. Ability to frequently lift up to 50 lbs. Biosecurity Requirement Employees are prohibited from owning or keeping birds or poultry at their residence . Compliance with all company biosecurity requirements is mandatory.
