Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Attend Daily Shift Meeting;
- Ensure 100% delivery to customer;
- Follow standard work: role of the operator is to follow and apply the best standards to build part in order to ensure safety, quality and productivity.
- Take part and improve effectiveness using Lean Manufacturing methods;
- Install and maintain 5S standards;
- Work shifts and overtime as necessary;
- Responsible for the HSE of him/her and all personnel working in the areas including visitors.
- Ensure health and HSE requirements and procedures are adhered to.
- Carry out Process to correct Quality and Production Standards within cycle time;
- Escalate issues to Team Leader/ Shift Leader as necessary;
- Work flexibly in order to meet customer demands and needs;
- Responsibility for ensuring Product Quality.
- Responsible for maintaing equipment in an excellent working condition
- Submit and Implement Improvement Ideas
- Fill out station documentation such as micro stop, defect, tracker, etc. (any information requested by the company)
- Support commitments established in the
ISO 14001
Environmental Policy.- Follow requirements established in Spring Hill Plant
ISO 14001
Environmental Management System (EMS) procedures and work instructions.- Operator should participate in SMED, tool change on the line if required.
- Assist with any additional tasks as assigned by the company.
- Ability to rotate jobs to promote a safer work environment, better teamwork, and a better trained workforce

Position Specifications Apply and support Stop Defect rules. Stop machine when safety measure does not comply.
