Jig Setter

Summertown Metals is looking for a hard - working, dependable person to work in our Steel Truss Shop as a Jig Setter. This is a production setting. This is also a full-time position which is eligible for benefits which include medical, dental, vision, accident, critical illness, hospital indemnity, STD, LTD, life, 401K with a company match, PTO and vacation. Job duties include, but are not limited to: Safely maneuver between jigs as they are being loaded. Adhering to company policies and standards. Assuring the proper steel measurements complies with print [engineered drawings] Positive communication with other members of the team. Daily production quotas or met, this is achieved with other team members. Following the Jig Leaders instructions and corrective actions as needed. Assist in stocking jigs daily for the current or next day's production. Production numbers are met or exceeded. Workforce is accident free. Downtime is kept to a minimum. Quality meets or exceeds customer expectations. The work area is clean and organized.
