$18.50/HR Are you detail-oriented with steady hands and a passion for precision work? RPM Staffing is hiring skilled Fiber Optic Production Operators in McKinney, TX to join a team that builds high-performance fiber optic cables to exacting engineering and customer standards. What You'll Do
  • Cut, strip, and clean single-mode and multi-mode fiber optic cables in preparation for termination
  • Use hand tools and air-powered equipment (strippers, cutters, cleavers, and cleaning tools)
  • Install, epoxy, and crimp connectors including LC, SC, ST, MPO, and others
  • Polish fiber ends with mechanical or hand-polishing equipment to meet precise industry standards
  • Inspect end-faces using microscopes and automated systems (interferometers / image analysis); document any defects
  • Perform visual inspections of in-process assemblies to ensure quality compliance
  • Maintain a clean, organized work area following 5S principles
  • Accurately complete production paperwork, labeling, lot tracking, and electronic records for full traceability
  • Follow all safety, quality, and EHS policies (including lockout/tagout and proper PPE)
  • Collaborate with production leads, quality, and shipping teams to meet schedules and customer requirements What We're Looking For
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination and the ability to handle extremely fragile glass fibers
  • Strong attention to detail and solid manual dexterity
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and work instructions
  • Comfort using a computer to access work instructions and enter production data
