Job Summary We are seeking an experienced and highly hands‑on Production Lead for our production unit at one of our high‑volume manufacturing facilities. This is a heavy production role responsible for assisting with day‑to‑day production operations, helping lead production staff, and ensuring production targets, quality standards, and safety requirements are consistently met in a fast‑paced environment. Key Responsibilities Ensure production operates in a safe, environmentally compliant, and efficient manner Monitor production processes continuously and adjust schedules or resources as needed Maintain strict quality control standards and ensure compliance with company policies Use production metrics to identify trends, drive improvements, and maximize uptime, throughput, and profitability Optimize workflow, equipment utilization, and labor efficiency while reducing waste Collaborate closely with leadership Track daily production performance Ensure production equipment is operated correctly, and preventative maintenance activities are executed Partner with site leadership to drive best‑in‑class operational results Required Skills/Abilities Proven ability to succeed in a demanding, high‑volume production environment; strong mechanical aptitude Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and develop frontline production teams Strong communication and problem‑solving skills Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for production tracking and reporting Ability to manage multiple priorities while focusing resources on high‑value work General understanding of OSHA regulations Comfortable working alongside teams on the production floor for most of the day Ability to foster a collaborative, team‑oriented work environment Education and Experience Proven history of strong safety performance (low TRIR and LTIR) Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, and move for extended periods; ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds independently; ability to work in varying temperatures, around moving mechanical equipment, and in environments with moderate to high noise levels.
