Press Straightening Operator

We are seeking a skilled Press Straightening Operator to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring Metal Tubes are accurately straightened and prepared for subsequent processes. Your expertise will help maintain high-quality standards, optimize production efficiency, and uphold safety protocols. Duties Operate press straightening machines to correct bending, or distortion in Steel Tubular Products. Use measuring instruments such as calipers, and gauges to verify straightness and dimensional accuracy. Read and interpret detailed blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to ensure proper alignment and quality standards are met. Set up and adjust machinery. Conduct quality inspections throughout the process to identify defects or deviations from specifications; document findings accurately. Maintain safety standards by adhering to proper lockout/tagout procedures, operating cranes and hand tools safely, and following all workplace safety protocols. Requirements Proven experience operating press straightening machines or similar metal fabrication equipment in a manufacturing setting. Mechanical knowledge Ability to work with crane operations safely when handling heavy materials or equipment. Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to machining tolerances. Strong attention to detail combined with excellent problem-solving skills; committed to maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
