Full Job Description Position Summary :
Premier Logitech is hiring a fully onsite Production Control Clerk that performs clerical tasks in a production environment using Warehouse Management Systems, Microsoft 365 software and other warehouse hardware to control the flow of customer orders through operations to shipping ensuring timely completion of orders while adhering to the approved policies and procedures.
Essential Responsibilities :
Prints, releases and distributes work orders, pick lists, shipping documents and production paperwork. Monitors work order status throughout production to ensure timely completion. Issues work orders based on approved priorities, customer requirements and operational capacity. Maintains and creates various records, reports and dashboards. Verifies order accuracy before releases. Escalates potential delays, material shortages, system issues, or capacity constraints to leadership. Coordinates order priorities with interdepartmental resources as needed. Investigates and troubleshoots discrepancies. Ensures all required documentation is complete and accurate for all orders. Ensures transaction accuracy across departments and systems. Monitors trends and proactively recommends process improvements to leadership. Participates in daily production meetings as required. Monitors queues and identifies issues that may affect on-time shipping. Supports special projects as needed.
Skills and Specifications Required:
Completion of a High school diploma or equivalent One to three years related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to work with and be proficient with Microsoft 365 software, and various other office equipment. Ability to effectively use problem solving skills in standardized situations. Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure. Ability to stand for long periods of time in climate and non-climate-controlled environments Ability to multi-task and set priorities Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions
