Overview Join our dynamic sign shop team as an Entry-Level Sign Shop Fabrication Helper and kickstart your career in the vibrant world of visual communication! This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with their hands, learning new skills, and being part of a team that creates custom signs for commercial clients. As a Sign Shop Fabrication Helper, you will assist experienced fabricators with the production, assembly, and preparation of custom signage. We provide on-the-job training and opportunities for advancement for candidates who demonstrate a strong work ethic and willingness to learn. Duties Assist with the fabrication and assembly of custom signs. Prepare materials, tools, and workstations for production. Help package and organize completed signs for delivery or installation. Load, unload, and move materials safely throughout the shop. Operate basic hand and power tools under supervision. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Assist with inventory organization and material handling. Support fabrication and installation teams with various shop tasks as needed. Follow company safety procedures and quality standards. Skills Willingness to learn new skills related to sign manufacturing equipment and techniques Good communication skills for collaborating effectively with team members and supervisors No experience required; training will be provided. High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks. Comfortable using hand tools or willing to learn. Strong work ethic, reliability, and positive attitude. Ability to follow instructions and work well as part of a team. Dependable attendance and punctuality are required. Preferred Qualifications Experience in manufacturing, construction, carpentry, or a related trade is a plus but not required.
