Job Description

Job Summary

Seeking an experienced Thrust Reverser Specialist with hands-on experience removing, repairing, overhauling, inspecting, and installing aircraft thrust reverser components. The ideal candidate will have direct experience working on specific aircraft and be able to clearly identify the thrust reverser components they have personally worked on.

Responsibilities

Remove, repair, overhaul, inspect, and install aircraft thrust reverser components.

Perform hands-on maintenance and repair of thrust reverser assemblies and associated components.

Disassemble and reassemble thrust reverser assemblies.

Inspect components for damage, wear, cracks, corrosion, and other defects.

Perform composite and structural repairs as required.

Troubleshoot thrust reverser components and systems.

Read and interpret maintenance manuals, component maintenance manuals, drawings, repair procedures, and other technical data.

Perform repairs in accordance with approved data, OEM specifications, and company procedures.

Complete accurate maintenance and repair documentation.

Work with Quality and Engineering personnel to ensure repairs meet applicable requirements.

Support AOG and quick-turn repair requirements as needed.

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

Requirements

Qualifications

Hands-on thrust reverser experience required.

Must be able to identify the specific aircraft and thrust reverser components they have personally worked on.

Previous aircraft component repair, MRO, or aircraft maintenance experience.

Experience removing, repairing, overhauling, or installing thrust reverser components.

Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, drawings, and repair documentation.

Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

FAA Part 145 repair station experience preferred.

A&P license preferred but not required.

Bonding and structural repair

Inspection and troubleshooting

AOG/quick-turn repair

FAA Part 145 repair station experience
