As we expand our operations, we are searching for a talented and experienced Production Team Leader who will assist with the management of the daily production staff to ensure the production of high-quality interior automotive parts at their new Hutto TX location.

Summary of position:

The Production Team Leader will assist in leading teams throughout the various stages of the production process, from preparation to completion to meet the company's quality and efficiency standards. The candidate may operate machinery, assemble products, monitor the production process and ensure quality control standards are maintained. They will have the ability to adapt to changing business needs, leverage data analytics, prioritize workload and build effective relationships with department leaders and team members. The individual will work closely with cross functional teams such as inventory, quality, maintenance and shipping and receiving to ensure products are of the highest quality. Responsibilities Serve as first point of contact for all shift personnel

• Assist with the planning, coordination, and management of the daily production activities and staffing assignments
• Prioritize production schedules based on customer requirements, equipment efficiency, inventory and staff utilization
• Assist with the direction of workflow by monitoring the production process
• Aid in identifying and developing team members skills and strengths to maximize production output
• Supervise, motivate, counsel, coach and discipline team members as needed
• Clearly communicate job expectations, priorities and deadlines to production members
• Assist in the development of training materials and oversee the training of new production staff to maintain an environment of continuous learning
• Confirm team members adhere to and comply with company policies and procedures and safety regulations
• Track KPI's and identify areas of improvement in the production process
• Identify bottlenecks in the production process and provide solutions
• Ensure product quality conforms to customer specifications
• Aid in determining the root cause of non-conformance product
• Coordinate with the maintenance department to ensure proper and efficient equipment operation, preventing extended downtime
• Support the creation and maintenance of a safe and clean work environment Required Qualifications High school diploma or G.E.D. Flexibility to work on any shift as needed
• Excellent communication skills and exceptional attention to detail
• Ability to adapt to changing business needs and to prioritize workload to focus on dynamic business objectives
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Capability to utilize ERP system for inventory purposes
• Ability to operate a forklift and other equipment
