In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for applying high-quality coatings to a variety of products using conventional spraying and hydro transfer printing techniques. Your expertise in industrial painting, surface preparation, and finishing will ensure that products meet strict quality standards and safety protocols. Responsibilities Operate coating equipment including spray guns, hydro transfer printing systems with precision and consistency. Prepare surfaces through construction painting surface preparation and finishing techniques to ensure optimal coating adhesion. Interpret production documents such as work orders, process sheets, and quality standards to execute tasks accurately. Handle materials safely using proper materials handling procedures and adhere to all personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements including respirators and respiratory protection. Conduct visual color comparisons and inspect coated surfaces for defects, ensuring compliance with quality standards in production. Maintain machinery through basic mechanical knowledge and perform routine cleaning, troubleshooting, and minor repairs on power tools and machining equipment. Follow safety protocols diligently, including PPE use and safe operation of hand tools, power tools, and coating spray guns. Skills Proven experience operating conventional spray guns systems in a manufacturing or industrial setting. Strong understanding of industrial painting techniques including construction painting surface preparation, coating application, and finishing processes. Ability to interpret production documents accurately and follow detailed instructions for quality assurance. Mechanical aptitude with knowledge of machining processes, hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments. Familiarity with materials handling procedures and auto body repair techniques is a plus. Knowledge of safety protocols related to respiratory protection, PPE adherence, and industrial painting environments. Basic math skills for measuring materials accurately and calculating coverage rates.
