Job Description

Role Overview The Production Control & Customer Liaison Specialist is a critical role that bridges the gap between customer demands, supplier capabilities, and onsite production. You will manage the flow of materials, ensure inventory accuracy, and serve as the professional voice of the company when communicating with customers and vendors. [Primary Responsibilities]
Customer & Vendor Relations :
Act as the primary point of contact for customers. Inquire about delivery stages, provide progress updates, and resolve shipping issues professionally in English.
Production & Material Flow :
Distribute production schedules and work orders. Review customer demand to determine material priorities and ensure zero downtime.
Inventory Management :
Conduct daily/weekly inventory counts and monitor raw material consumption. Maintain high-accuracy records in Excel.
Purchasing & Logistics :
Issue purchase orders, coordinate with vendors for material receiving, and manage transportation/delivery arrangements.
Administrative Support :
Create vendor registration, prepare payment request reports, and manage data entry for all logistics activities.
Onsite Support :
Support floor layout (line marking) and collaborate with production teams to evaluate progress. [Qualifications]
Education :
Degree in a related field (Supply Chain, Business, or Engineering) preferred.
Experience :
2+ years of production or inventory control experience in a manufacturing setting.
Communication Skills :
English (Fluent/Professional) : Strong professional English communication skills are required to coordinate with automotive OEM customers, specifically regarding Just-In-Time (JIT) delivery schedules, ASN management, and others. Spanish (Preferred) : Highly valued for effective communication with our Hispanic production team members.
Technical Skills :
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Data validation, formulas, and reporting) is required.
Soft Skills :
Strong attention to detail, ability to work independently with minimal supervision, and sound decision-making skills under pressure.

$24.52 - $30.00 per hour
