Job Description

Become a Key Player as a Winder Operator (PAF) You will operate and maintain bobbin/wire winding equipment to meet production and quality targets. You will work onsite in a manufacturing environment, reporting to the Value Stream Team Leader and collaborating closely with maintenance and production teams to keep machines running and output on schedule. Your work directly supports inventory accuracy and manufacturing flow on the 1st shift (day). Here's How You'll Make an Impact on the Team Set up and operate bobbin winders according to manufacturing specifications and detailed instructions String wire through bobbin winders, set counters to required footage, and refill oil containers as needed Record required data for labeling and place finished bobbins on the wire table per inventory Keep bobbin machines operating continuously and report production issues to the direct lead Pull material from the warehouse and maintain a clean, 5S-compliant work area Detect and report problem areas or unusual conditions to the Value Stream Team Lead and assist maintenance to resolve equipment issues Perform related duties assigned by the Value Stream Team Lead and perform work at equal or lower classifications when requested Here's What You'll Need to Be Successful in This Role High school diploma or GED Ability to pass pre-employment screening Ability to stand for extended periods and perform frequent pushing, pulling, bending, twisting, and lifting up to 50 lbs Basic computer skills and ability to monitor machine sounds to identify issues Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and strong troubleshooting ability Good math, reading, and communication skills Capacity for continuous mental, visual, and audio attention and attention to detail Here's What Else Might Help You Out Prior production or manufacturing experience (preferred) Basic knowledge and use of hand tools Experience working in Lean/5S environments and participating in peer-based teams Ability to work well in a team environment Pay Range $14.20 - $17.75/hour Ready to Make Your Mark?
