Operate bale press, baler, conveyor, and related production equipment safely and efficiently. Inspect materials before and during processing to ensure they meet quality and production requirements. Load, feed, sort, and prepare material for the baling process as directed. Monitor equipment operation and make routine adjustments to maintain proper production flow. Identify equipment problems, jams, or unsafe conditions and promptly notify the Production Supervisor or Maintenance Department. Tie, secure, label, and stage completed bales according to established procedures. Maintain accurate production counts and complete required production documentation. Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of material or safety hazards. Follow all lockout/tagout, machine guarding, PPE, and other applicable safety procedures. Perform routine cleaning and basic operator maintenance as assigned. Maintain production speed and efficiency while ensuring finished bales meet quality specifications. Work cooperatively with Machine Operators, Packers, Maintenance, Shipping & Receiving, and other production personnel. Follow job orders, work instructions, company policies, and supervisor directions. Report quality issues, damaged materials, equipment malfunctions, and safety concerns immediately. Perform other production-related duties as assigned.
