As a Manufacturing Operations Technician in our McKinney, Texas facility, you'll set up, run, and care for production equipment that creates the cables powering homes, cities, and networks. Operate, monitor, and fine‑tune equipment to achieve safe, efficient, high‑quality output. Perform routine checks, diagnose basic mechanical issues, and make adjustments to optimize performance. Follow standardized work instructions, quality standards, and production requirements. Coordinate with teammates and supervisors to meet daily targets and minimize scrap/rework. Safety is how we work Actively participate in safety trainings, audits, and hazard‑prevention efforts every shift. Use required PPE at all times: ear plugs, high‑visibility clothing, safety‑toed shoes, and safety glasses. Maintain a clean, hazard‑free area; follow lockout/tagout (LOTO) requirements without exception. Immediately report unsafe conditions, near misses, and equipment concerns. What you bring Solid, stable, and verifiable work history; prior industrial/manufacturing experience preferred. Willing and able to work any shift, plus weekends and overtime as needed. Comfort following written and verbal instructions and established safety procedures. Physically able to stand, lift, push, pull, squat, stoop, and bend frequently. Basic math, reading comprehension, and computer skills for measurements and production reporting. Ability to read and follow quality standards, work instructions, and production specs. Familiarity with calipers, gauges, micrometers, and related inspection tools (as applicable). Consistency in following standardized processes while meeting production requirements. Strong attention to detail with a drive to minimize scrap and rework. Understanding of continuous improvement concepts and interest in root‑cause problem solving. Team‑oriented mindset; eager to contribute to safety, quality, and production improvements. Ability to prioritize tasks and maintain focus. Mechanical aptitude to operate industrial equipment and learn machine functions. Willingness to be trained and operate a forklift, hoists, or other material‑handling equipment as needed.
