Calibration & Final Assembly Production Associate Tinker & Rasor is looking for a motivated Calibration & Final Assembly Production Associate to join our production team. This position is responsible for performing final assembly, equipment calibration, production testing, and simple repairs on electronic instruments used in cathodic protection and corrosion control applications. This is a hands-on production position. Advanced electronics troubleshooting experience is not required. The right candidate should be dependable, detail-oriented, willing to learn, and able to follow written procedures carefully. Tinker & Rasor will provide training on how to use multi-meters, oscilloscopes, calibration equipment, and other tools needed for the job. This position will work under the direction of the Electronic Repair Technician / Department Team Lead. Primary Responsibilities

• Perform final assembly of electronic instruments and related products
• Calibrate equipment by following written procedures and work instructions
• Test finished products to verify proper operation before shipment
• Perform basic repairs, such as fixing broken wires, replacing damaged connectors, switches, leads, hardware, and other common parts
• Test production sub-assemblies, including ribbon cables, switches, wiring, and basic electronic assemblies
• Use basic test equipment such as multi-meters, power supplies, oscilloscopes, and calibration equipment after training
• Follow work tickets, assembly instructions, calibration procedures, and quality checklists
• Accurately record calibration results, test data, serial numbers, and production notes
• Report product issues, missing parts, BOM problems, unclear instructions, or quality concerns to the Team Lead
• Keep work area clean, organized, and safe
• Assist with continuous improvement of assembly, testing, and calibration processes
• Assist with production assembly, final testing, or other operational tasks when needed.
• Perform other work-related duties as assigned.

Scope of the Position This position is focused on calibration, final assembly, production testing, and basic repairs. This position is not expected to perform advanced electronic troubleshooting, circuit board diagnosis, or component-level repair. Advanced troubleshooting, quality control review, and calibration documentation will be handled by the Electronic Repair Technician / Department Team Lead. Qualifications and Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to follow written procedures and verbal instructions
• Good hand-eye coordination and mechanical ability
• Willingness to learn electronic test equipment and calibration procedures
• Dependable, organized, and self-motivated
• Able to work independently after training
• Basic computer skills for entering test results, serial numbers, and production notes
• Ability to communicate clearly when something does not look correct Preferred but Not Required
• Soldering experience
• Experience using a multi-meter
• Experience with hand tools or small mechanical assembly
• Previous production, assembly, repair, testing, or quality control experience
• Basic understanding of electronics or electrical circuits Physical Requirements
• Must be able to sit, stand, bend, and reach for sustained periods.
• Must have the manual dexterity necessary to handle small components, solder connections, operate tools, and use a computer.
• Must have sufficient visual acuity to inspect electrical connections, read test equipment, and view a computer screen.
• Must be able to communicate and exchange information through spoken and written communication.
• Must be able to lift and move materials weighing up to 40 pounds.

Work Environment & Schedule This position is based in a clean, air-conditioned production and final assembly environment. The employee will work with electronic instruments, hand tools, test equipment, wiring, small parts, and calibration equipment. The regular work schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM . Overtime is rare and is usually not required. This position offers a consistent daytime schedule in a stable manufacturing environment. Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate is reliable, motivated, and willing to learn.
