Sewing Operator

New Braunfels, TX Position Description:

Simpson, a leading manufacturer in racing safety products, has an opening for a full-time Production Sewer to work first shift at its New Braunfels, TX facility. We are looking for a team-oriented individual with sewing experience, preferably in an industrial environment.

Duties/Responsibilities:

Sews various types of fabrics and/or webbing material using manual and automatic sewing machines Maintains sewing equipment and clean work station Cuts fabric using hand held cutters and clicker press as needed Performs light assembly as required Adheres to all safety rules/regulations

Skills and Qualifications:

Sewing experience preferred but will train if individual is open minded and has a strong desire to learn Organized with high attention to detail Dependable with excellent attendance record Ability to work in busy environment Available to work extended hours and some Saturdays as needed

Physical Demands:
