Job Description
Job Overview Production Floater - Bag, Extrusion, and Utility Operations Position Summary The Production Floater will assist wherever needed based on production demands, staffing needs, and operational priorities. This position requires a dependable, team-oriented individual with some mechanical aptitude, the ability to learn multiple production processes, and a willingness to support different areas of the plant. Key Responsibilities Assist with production needs in Bag, Extrusion, and Utility operations. Support machine operators and production team members as needed. Help maintain steady workflow by filling in where coverage is needed. Assist with setup, operation, cleaning, and basic troubleshooting of production equipment. Follow all safety procedures, company policies, and quality standards. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. Communicate with supervisors and team members regarding production needs, equipment issues, or material concerns. Perform other duties as assigned to support overall plant operations. Qualifications Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment preferred. Extrusion knowledge is strongly preferred. We will train. Ability to work in multiple departments and adapt to changing production needs. Ability to follow instructions, safety procedures, and production standards. Dependable attendance and strong work ethic. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Willingness to learn and assist wherever needed. Physical Requirements Ability to stand up to 12 hours and walk, bend, and move throughout the shift. Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 to 60 lbs. of materials as required. Ability to work in a manufacturing environment.
