In this role, you will be responsible for fabricating, assembling, and installing sheet metal components with precision and efficiency. Your expertise will contribute to the creation of high-quality metal products. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with advanced machinery and cutting-edge fabrication techniques in a fast-paced, safety-focused environment. Duties Interpret mechanical blueprints and technical drawings to accurately fabricate sheet metal parts Operate a variety of machinery including CNC laser cutters, plasma cutters, press brake machines, CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, stamping presses, and forming machines Set up and calibrate machining tools and fabrication equipment to ensure precise cuts and bends Use measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and other precision measurement tools for quality control Perform welding and assembly tasks to join metal components according to specifications Maintain safety standards by adhering to safety protocols during machine operation and fabrication processes Conduct quality inspections throughout production to ensure parts meet strict tolerances and specifications Utilize shop math skills for measurements, calculations, and ensuring proper fitment of parts Skills Proficiency in interpreting mechanical blueprints and technical drawings accurately Hands-on experience with CNC programming, laser cutting, plasma cutting, and machining operations Familiarity with tooling setup on press brakes, stamping presses, CNC mills, lathes, and forming machines Strong mechanical knowledge of fabrication processes and machine operation safety standards Ability to use precision measuring instruments for quality control purposes Knowledge of shop math principles necessary for measurement calculations and part fitting Ability to operate hand tools and power tools efficiently in a manufacturing setting Understanding of safety protocols related to machine operation and metal fabrication processes Join us as a Sheet Metal Worker where your technical skills meet your passion for manufacturing excellence!
