Join our team and discover why we are a top veteran employer and Certified Great Place to Work™ ASRC Federal Gulf State Constructors is seeking a Production Control Clerk II in support of our Sheppard AFB Base Operations Support Contract Located in Wichita Falls, TX.
Overview:
Performs all duties of a Production Control Clerk I. Support the work order priority program and the Inservice Work Plan (IWP). Ensures all costs and labor are properly accounted for in the NexGen IT system. Coordinates work schedules with the Supervisors and Leads and helps to ensure work requests are routed to the proper shop. Supports the workflow planning function. Coordinates work requests with the Operations Support planners. Supports the operation of the Preventive Maintenance Task Listing (PMTL) providing non-technical computer management assistance. Assists with the development of the PMTL schedule. Receives and processes CE Work Requests from initial receipt, through the WRRB, to the scheduling and production control phase. May be called on to present work order requests to the WRRB and records board determinations. Under supervision prepares reports associated with production control, PMTL, and the small contract program. Prepares production reports and presents findings to Management and AF personnel. Monitors status of work orders awaiting materials or scheduling. Works closely with the Operations Department to ensure timely completion of all maintenance work. Manages programs assigned to Customer Service such as facility management, vehicle maintenance, UCC, etc. Provide courteous service to all customers.
Responsibilities:
  • Receives work requests for Civil Engineering support. Receives and processes dig permit requests.
  • Determines classification of work.
  • Determines complexity of work and if formal planning or engineering design is required
  • Logs and routes the work request to planning, material purchasing, or to the proper shop.
  • Tracks the work orders until completion.
  • Ensures all labor and material charges are properly documented.
  • Routes work requests for large projects to the Engineering Services branch for design and accomplishment.
  • Prepares and maintains work force records and reports.
  • Develops training and production control slides and presents information when needed.
  • Coordinates with Vectrus departments in the development of the Facility Manager training program.
  • Inputs PMTLs into NexGen IT system.
  • Review and distribute production and work schedules; confer with department supervisors to determine progress of work and completion dates and compile data into reports annotating progress and problem areas.
  • Accurately report labor to meet PWS requirements for priorities 1, 2A, 3A, 3B, 3C, 4A, and 4B by close of business each business day.
  • Other duties as assigned to meet customer and mission requirements.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid state driver's license.
  • Three (3) years operating any Production Control Program (such as
IWIMS/AWIMS
).
  • 1 year operating ACES or similar system.
  • Must be able to demonstrate ability to type 30 words per minute.
  • Must be able to demonstrate Microsoft Office Suite proficiency, including Excel.
  • Must be a US or Permanent Citizen due to contract requirements
