Job Description

SUMMARY

The Production Assistant supports assembly and production line activities, ensuring materials and products meet quality standards. This role follows established procedures, assists with equipment operation, and reports issues to supervisors in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Performs line functions and assembles final product as required under the direction of the Line SupervisorFollows established departmental policies, procedures, and objectives, continuous quality improvement objectivesUses quality control methods to verify goods received are consistent with required standards; uses proper QC, missing packing list, and rejection forms as neededResponsible for raw material requisitionsNotifies supervisor of defective materialsMay operate dolly, pallet jack, and/or forklift in loading and unloading supplies and equipment; may lock warehousePerforms miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Ability to understand, follow, and maintain quality and safety proceduresKnowledge of equipment operation and maintenanceAbility to perform basic mathAbility to lift and manipulate heavy objectsAbility to detect problems and report information to supervisorHigh school diploma or equivalent
ITAR REQUIREMENTS
