Job purpose The Production Utility Worker supports daily manufacturing operations by performing a variety of line tasks, including product handling, inspection, packing, material movement, cleaning, and sanitation. This role provides essential support across multiple production lines and must be adaptable, safety-focused, and able to learn tasks quickly.

Wage:

$16.00 per hour + $1.00 shift differential per hour Duties and responsibilities Core Production Tasks Stand at assigned production lines and visually inspect products for quality and defects. Load products onto conveyors, hoppers, melters, or other production equipment. Hand-pack finished products into trays, cartons, or boxes as required. Stack finished cases onto pallets following simple pallet patterns. Assist with material movement and replenishing line supplies. Rotate to different lines or workstations as needed, including covering lunches and breaks. Cleaning & Sanitation (Required for ALL employees) Keep work area clean, organized, and free of debris to prevent slip, trip, or fall hazards. Perform routine cleaning such as sweeping, mopping, and wiping surfaces. Assist with scheduled sanitation activities, which may require: Use of mild chemicals and water Extended cleaning tasks up to a full 8-hour shift Training for Level 3 and Level 4 sanitation processes Follow all sanitation, GMP, and Food Safety protocols without exception. Safety & Compliance Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE at all times. Remain alert and aware of surroundings while working on or near machinery. Comply with all company policies, GMPs, and Food Safety requirements. Treat all co-workers with respect and maintain a positive team environment. Qualifications Ability to follow instructions from Line Leads, Supervisors, and Shift Managers. Strong attention to detail (e.g., labeling, lot codes, product quality checks). Good personal hygiene and adherence to GMPs. Ability to work effectively alone or as part of a team. Working conditions Must be able to work any shift as scheduled (days, swings, nights). Must be able to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed. Standing/walking for long periods in a manufacturing environment. Must adhere to all safety programs and procedures. Physical requirements Wear non-slip, safety-compliant footwear. Wear all required PPE including hairnet, beard net (if applicable), gloves, etc. Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, kneel, twist, and lift up to 50 lbs unassisted. Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with co-workers and leaders.
