Job Overview As a Production Machine Operator, you'll set up, operate, and monitor manufacturing equipment to produce parts and packaging that meet production documents and quality requirements. You'll follow safety standards, check dimensions, and respond to equipment issues to keep work moving accurately and safely.

Careful machine operation and quality checks help production teams deliver consistent products and reduce defects. Duties Operate and adjust production machinery, which may include CNC (computer numerical control) equipment, CNC lathes and milling machines, press brakes, stamping presses, flexographic presses, and packaging equipment. Read blueprints, technical drawings, and production documents; apply shop math and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) as needed. Measure parts with calipers, micrometers, and other precision instruments; perform quality control checks and document results. Handle materials and tooling; use hand tools and forklifts when authorized, and support fabrication, machining, assembly, or welding tasks as assigned. Monitor equipment, troubleshoot basic mechanical issues, and follow safety procedures in manufacturing and warehouse areas. Experience Experience in machine operation, manufacturing, machining, or a production facility is useful; assembly line, packaging, or warehouse experience is also relevant. Mechanical knowledge and the ability to interpret mechanical blueprints and production documents are important. Familiarity with CNC programming, computer-aided manufacturing (CAM), computer-aided design (CAD), SolidWorks, Fanuc controls, or programmable logic controllers (PLCs) is preferred. Experience with precision measurement, tooling, industrial equipment troubleshooting, and dimensional inspection is an asset. Forklift experience or familiarity with press equipment is helpful; follow applicable site safety requirements. Application Question(s): Please select your preferred shift from the options below.
