Spot Welder Pay:
$18.00-$21.00/hour
DOE Shift:
Day Shift | Monday-Thursday | 5:00 AM - 3:30 PM (4-day work week) Job Summary We are seeking a dependable Spot Welder to join a growing metal fabrication team in Salt Lake City. This position is responsible for producing high-quality welded components by following production specifications, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring a safe work environment. The ideal candidate has previous spot welding experience, a strong attention to detail, and enjoys working in a fast-paced manufacturing setting. Responsibilities Perform spot welding operations on metal components according to production specifications. Read and interpret work orders, blueprints, and production drawings as needed. Set up and operate spot welding equipment safely and efficiently. Inspect finished products to ensure weld quality, accuracy, and compliance with company standards. Use measuring tools to verify dimensions and maintain quality control throughout production. Maintain equipment and work area in a clean, organized, and safe condition. Work closely with team members to meet daily production schedules and quality expectations. Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE at all times. Qualifications Previous spot welding experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment preferred. Ability to read blueprints and production drawings is a plus. Familiarity with hand tools, measuring devices, and basic fabrication equipment. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing quality work. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods. Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced production environment. #INDSLC
