This role is responsible for ensuring that legal documents are accurate, well-written, properly formatted, and readily accessible for attorney review and use. The ideal candidate possesses excellent writing, proofreading, and organizational skills and can efficiently manage large volumes of electronic and paper records in a fast-paced legal environment. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Draft discovery requests, discovery responses, correspondence, summaries, and other legal documents for attorney review. Organize, review, and maintain client records, discovery materials, and case-related documents. Prepare, label, and produce documents in accordance with attorney instructions, court rules, and client requirements. Bates stamp, index, and categorize documents for litigation and other legal matters. Create and maintain document databases, electronic file systems, and production logs. Identify, organize, and compile relevant documents and information for attorney review and case preparation. Perform quality control reviews to ensure accuracy, completeness, consistency, and proper formatting of all legal documents. Prepare exhibits, binders, production sets, and other supporting case materials. Track discovery deadlines and assist with document production schedules. Proofread legal documents for grammar, spelling, formatting, and citation consistency. Maintain confidentiality of client information and sensitive legal records. Accurately record time spent on client matters in accordance with firm billing practices and procedures. Provide general litigation and case support as assigned. Qualifications Paralegal certificate or equivalent legal experience. Strong legal writing, editing, and proofreading skills. Experience drafting litigation-related documents. Proficient in Microsoft Office and experience with PDF editing software, document management systems, and electronic file organization preferred. Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.
