Hourly Non-Exempt 2-2-3 Schedule, Graveyard shift 6pm-6am
Position Purpose:
The Film Line Operator will safely control various machines and equipment involved in production of High-Quality WIP rolls in a safe and productive manner. Principle Accountabilities Operates production machinery in accordance with specifications. Produces the required quantity of rolls within established specifications and tolerances. Measures finished parts with precision tools, ensuring compliance with function, quality, and cosmetic specifications. Monitors the line to maintain changing conditions by adjusting bolts, heats, winder settings and other process settings. Inspects equipment prior to use to ensure proper setup and alignment; performs basic and routine adjustments and maintenance. Conducts quality tests by cutting, weighing and checking samples for proper quality. Identifies and reports deficiencies in product quality or packing. Maintains a clean, safe, and orderly work area. Performs other related duties as assigned. Essential Skills and Experience High School Diploma Ability to follow directions and work well in a team. Thorough understanding of or the ability to quickly learn production equipment. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Understanding of and the ability to abide by applicable OSHA and environmental regulations. Ability to perform basic math and computer programs. Effectively communicate both verbal and written. Able to lift 50 lbs. independently.
