Roll Tender

We're looking for a Roll Tender to join our pressroom team! In this role, you'll support press operations by loading paper rolls, hanging plates, assisting with make-ready activities, monitoring quality, and performing routine maintenance to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality production.

Key Responsibilities:

Load paper rolls, hang plates, and prepare materials according to the daily production schedule. Assist with make-ready operations, including size changes, collect and non-collect setups, and rough fronts. Verify forms, pagination, and content against work orders and systems per SOP standards. Maintain proper fold, ribbon alignment, and customer specifications throughout production. Assist operators during downtime and relieve stacker technicians as needed to maintain workflow. Perform routine cleaning, lubrication, and assist with belt or roller changes during maintenance. Prepare the press for the next shift by staging plates, paper, and materials.

Preferred Requirements:

Experience working in a pressroom or manufacturing environment preferred. Ability to web up presses, clean blankets and metering rollers, and assist with roll stand setup. Basic math and computer skills for production tracking and documentation. Strong understanding of print quality standards and attention to detail. Dependable, safety-focused, and able to work collaboratively in a team environment.
