Job Description

Required Education:
  • High School Diploma or EquivalentRequired Skills:
  • 2+ years of experience operating production or manufacturing equipment in a high-volume environment.
  • Proven experience performing quality inspections and verifying production accuracy while meeting daily output goals.
  • Experience troubleshooting machine errors, making equipment adjustments, and minimizing production downtime.
  • 1+ year working in mail processing, printing, inserting, packaging, or automated sorting operations.
Overview:
  • As a Production Associate, you'll be trained on how to set up and operate different printing, inserting, labeling, and/or sorting machines.
  • Additionally, you will carry out the task of adjusting the machines to ensure work accuracy while responding to equipment error messages.
  • You will perform quality checks, confirm quantity produced, ensure the batch is accurate per the order ticket, and set up the equipment.
Responsibilities:
  • Operate machines that print, insert, label, and sort materials such as statements, health insurance cards, and loyalty cards.
  • Manually insert documents/forms into envelopes, affixing tags to plastic carriers and stuffing mail into expedited mailing packages.
  • Operate presorting machines to sort and separate out any damaged mail and request reprints when necessary.
  • Place sorted mail into bins to be sent to the post office.
  • Work with associates in a team effort to further company goals concerning productivity, safety, security, quality, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Participate in the team cross-training including learning different machines and equipment.
