Job Description
Required Education:
- High School Diploma or equivalentRequired Experience /
Skills:
- 1-2 years of experience working in a production or manufacturing environment
- Basic computer skills, including data entry and PC navigation
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume production environment
- Ability to understand and follow production procedures, work instructions, and order tickets
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy and quality
- Ability to stand for approximately 95% of the work shift
- Ability to lift and handle materials weighing approximately 20-50 pounds
- Ability to work weekends, overtime, and holidays as required
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a teamJob Duties
- Set up and operate various production equipment, including printing, inserting, labeling, sorting, and presorting machines
- Operate equipment used to process materials such as statements, health insurance cards, loyalty cards, and other customer documents
- Adjust machine settings as needed to maintain production accuracy and respond appropriately to equipment error messages
- Perform quality checks to verify accuracy, quantity, and compliance with order tickets and production requirements
- Manually insert documents and forms into envelopes and affix tags to plastic carriers
- Prepare mail for expedited shipment by stuffing documents into appropriate mailing packages
- Operate presorting equipment to sort and separate mail, including identifying damaged or defective pieces and requesting reprints when necessary
- Place sorted and completed mail into designated bins for delivery to the post office
- Follow all company policies and procedures related to productivity, safety, security, quality, and continuous improvement
- Participate in team cross-training and learn to operate different machines and production equipment
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and maintain a safe, efficient, and high-quality work environment
