You will build boxes, pack brick bags and instructions, and prepare finished goods for shipment while maintaining strict quality, safety, and cleanliness standards. The position involves repetitive, assembly-line work in a climate-controlled, state-of-the-art facility and requires the ability to perform at a fast pace with minimal downtime. Responsibilities Manually assemble boxes and packaging, including folding and constructing the physical box components. Pack final brick bags, instructions, and other components into the packaging prior to shipment. Work on an assembly line in close proximity to peers, standing shoulder to shoulder while performing repetitive tasks. Rotate through all positions on the assigned production line, including packing, material handling, and end-of-line duties such as palletizing materials. Maintain a consistent, fast work pace, often handling a box in and out of your hands within a few seconds. Meet the requirement to make a box in less than 2 seconds while maintaining quality and accuracy. Lift up to 50 lbs when loading full boxes onto pallets and handle product up to 33 lbs consistently. Stand for extended periods (8-12 hours) and follow a rotation that includes 4 hours of standing, 4 hours of sitting, and time working at the end of the line. Perform quality checks and inspections to ensure all products meet required quality standards. Report any issues or detected failures in compliance with quality expectations and procedures. Ensure production reporting for the assigned line, including performance measures and line operation reporting (TPM, 5S, QAs, Line Release Audit, etc.). Contribute to the constant flow of the line by avoiding unplanned downtimes and supporting continuous production. Accomplish standard hourly production results and adhere to performance metrics. Support changeovers, quality inspections, and machine cleaning as needed. Keep machines in good condition and maintain a tidy, clean, and organized work area. Collaborate and communicate effectively with peers, supporting a positive team environment and shared values. Work within an environment where performance is measured and documented, and maintain consistent job tenure and reliability. Follow all safety, cleanliness, and dress code requirements, including restrictions on personal items and attire on the production floor. Essential Skills 1-2 years of experience in production or manufacturing environments. Previous experience performing repetitive assembly line or production line tasks. Experience standing for 8-12 hour shifts in prior roles. Demonstrated ability to perform quality checks and inspections to maintain product standards. Experience with inventory, loading, warehouse inventory, and general production tasks. Ability to perform manual assembly and packing work at a fast pace with high accuracy. Capability to make a box in less than 2 seconds while maintaining quality. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs when loading full boxes onto pallets and to handle product up to 33 lbs consistently. Comfort with continuous standing and walking, turning side-to-side, and frequent grabbing and pinching motions away from the body. Ability to bend and squat frequently as part of regular job duties. Prior experience in environments where performance is closely measured and tracked. Consistent job tenure of approximately 1-2 years per role, demonstrating reliability and stability. High School Diploma or GED preferred. Work Environment You will work in a very clean, climate-controlled, state-of-the-art facility that houses packaging operations, warehouse functions, and a training center in Colonial Heights, with plans for a significantly larger facility featuring more equipment and expanded square footage in the future. Shifts run on a 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. schedule with a 3-2-2-3 type rotation, and you will be assigned to a specific production line that rotates responsibilities between standing, sitting, and end-of-line palletizing tasks. The environment is assembly-line focused, with minimal downtime and constant performance measurement, requiring close collaboration with peers in shoulder-to-shoulder workstations. The facility includes a canteen and breakroom with food and drink machines, as well as locker rooms with lockers available upon request; if lockers are not available, personal items can be stored on top of lockers or kept in vehicles. Cell phones are not allowed on the production floor and must remain in vehicles if secure storage is not available. The dress code supports safety and product quality: no jewelry, phones, fake nails, fake lashes, nail polish, or hoodies are permitted on the production floor.
